klicksafe.de is multilingual with Campus Lingo
klicksafe is an EU initiative with the aim of promoting online and media literacy. As an independent information portal, our website klicksafe.de plays a central role in bundling practical tips and helpful materials.
One of the aims of our relaunch in 2022 was to offer content that was previously only available in German in other languages. After all, media literacy is of course a topic that is becoming increasingly important today, and not just for German-speaking visitors. Our requirements were that all content should be translated so that the comprehensive character of klicksafe.de could also be maintained in other languages. In addition, no additional work was to be created for the editors and continuous automatic updating had to be guaranteed. Of course, all data protection requirements had to be met.
Before the relaunch, klicksafe.de made selected translated content available on special landing pages. It turned out that updating the translations was hardly feasible for our small team. And the selection of topics could not keep up with current trends. Key klicksafe.de services such as news, dates and materials were not translated.
The relaunch of klicksafe.de went online on 30 March 2022, and we completely revised all content (in German) and the structure beforehand. Thanks to Campus Lingo, klicksafe.de now also offers all content in English without our team having to do anything. The quality of the automatic translations is amazingly good and in most places indistinguishable from a "man-made" translation.

HWG Ludwigshafen uses Campus Time to record working hours
" We needed a modern and flexible working time recording system that could also map mobile working, traffic light account functions and long-term accounts. It not only had to record the working hours and absences of our pay-scale employees, but also authorisation procedures, for example. Brain Appeal delivered a convincing solution by implementing time recording software that was customised to our needs. By introducing a modern time recording system that can also be used on mobile devices, we have optimised processes for employees, managers and the HR department. The employees at Brain Appeal responded constructively to our wishes throughout the entire project phase, involved us closely in all processes and provided rapid technical support at all times. "

When it needs to be personalised, fair and transparent
We started recording working times over 10 years ago and eventually developed a time recording system for ourselves. Why? On the one hand, as a software manufacturer, it makes sense to develop software that is optimised for our own needs. But the much more important reason is that recording working hours is fair for both employees and the company. It's important to me to make my company a place where I enjoy working - which I do. It's rare, but I can rely on my team when there's a heavy workload. This is because any overtime is documented in Campus Time and then reduced again. This ensures a healthy work-life balance. It's also important for me to allocate the time to projects and support services in order to document them in a way that is comprehensible for our customers.
